Description

In the specific case of this poster, the data and metadata provided by public institutions regarding the life and literary production of María Lejárraga have been tested. The aim was to verify that these institutions do not provide the necessary open digital data to analyse socialization networks. We were only able to download open data from the Biblioteca Digital Mnemmosine, available on GitHub and Zenodo, and from Wikidata. Thanks to this open data and the raw data from expert bibliography, we have been able to create our own database, which can serve as a foundation for future research on other authors of the so-called Silver Age of Spanish literature (1900-1939).
The project also proposes a workflow that directly relies on European infrastructures such as DARIAH. First, to find a useful social network visualization tool, we searched in the SSHOC Open MarketPlace and found Gephi as a very powerful option. On the DARIAH Campus, we found many training materials to learn how to use the tool, and after data curation and visualization creation, the resulting dataset was uploaded to the Zenodo repository and then linked back to the SSHOC Open MarketPlace. In this way, we ensure the circularity of the research, the application of FAIR principles, and our commitment to Open Science.
