Bu çalışma, dijital dönüşüm sürecinin eğitim alanındaki etkilerini ve Türkiye’deki gelişim sürecini incelemektedir. Dijital dönüşüm, bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerindeki yeniliklerle desteklenen iş süreçlerinin yeniden şekillendirilmesi ve toplumsal ihtiyaçlara etkili çözümler sunma kapasitesiyle, eğitim dahil olmak üzere birçok alanda önemli dönüşümler sağlamaktadır. Eğitimde dijital dönüşüm, öğrenme deneyimlerinin yenilikçi yöntemlerle geliştirilmesi, bireylerin dijital becerilerle donatılması ve eğitim ortamlarının iyileştirilmesi amacıyla kritik bir gereklilik haline gelmiştir. Bu kapsamda, dijital teknolojilerin eğitim süreçlerine entegrasyonu ve dijital yeterliliklerin kazandırılması iki temel adımı oluşturmaktadır. Ancak bu süreçlerin etkili bir şekilde yürütülebilmesi için altyapı, öğretmen ve öğrenci yeterlilikleri, içerik geliştirme ve politika stratejileri gibi çok yönlü bir yaklaşım gerekmektedir. Türkiye özelinde, Eğitim Bilişim Ağı (EBA) ve Öğretmen Bilişim Ağı (ÖBA) gibi platformlar, eğitimde dijital dönüşümün uygulanmasında önemli rol oynamıştır. Özellikle COVID-19 pandemisi sırasında uzaktan eğitim sistemlerinin yaygınlaşmasıyla, dijitalleşme sürecinde belirgin ilerlemeler kaydedilmiştir. Ancak Uluslararası Yönetim Geliştirme Enstitüsü (IMD) Dünya Dijital Rekabet Sıralaması’nda Türkiye’nin, teknolojiye uyum ve dijital yeterlilik alanlarında hedeflenen seviyeye ulaşmakta zorluklar yaşadığı görülmektedir. Çalışmanın amacı, dijital dönüşümün eğitim süreçlerine etkisini anlamak, bu dönüşümden maksimum fayda sağlamak için gerekli stratejileri belirlemek ve Türkiye’nin dijitalleşme performansını analiz etmektir. Eğitimde dijitalleşmenin etkili bir şekilde yönetilebilmesi için liderlik, uygun teknoloji seçimi, dijital okuryazarlık ve uzun vadeli planlamanın önemi vurgulanmaktadır. Dijital dönüşümün kısa vadeli bir değişimden ziyade sürekli gelişim süreci olduğuna dikkat çekilmiştir. Bu doğrultuda, araştırma, eğitimde dijital dönüşümün teorik çerçevesini ve uygulamalardaki sonuçlarını detaylı bir şekilde ele almayı hedeflemektedir.

Abstract (English)
This study examines the impact of the digital transformation process on education and its development in Turkey. Digital transformation involves reshaping business processes supported by innovations in information and communication technologies, providing effective solutions to societal needs, and driving significant transformations in many areas, including education. In the field of education, digital transformation has become a critical necessity for enhancing learning experiences through innovative methods, equipping individuals with digital skills, and improving educational environments. In this context, the integration of digital technologies into educational processes and the development of digital competencies constitute two fundamental steps. However, effectively implementing these processes requires a multifaceted approach involving infrastructure, teacher and student competencies, content development, and policy strategies. In Turkey, platforms such as the Education Informatics Network (EBA) and the Teacher Informatics Network (ÖBA) have played a significant role in implementing digital transformation in education. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the widespread adoption of distance learning systems marked significant progress in digitalization. However, according to the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) World Digital Competitiveness Ranking, Turkey has faced challenges in achieving the desired level in areas such as technology adaptation and digital competence. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of digital transformation on educational processes, identify the strategies needed to maximize its benefits, and evaluate Turkey's performance in digitalization. The importance of leadership, appropriate technology selection, digital literacy, and long-term planning for effectively managing digital transformation in education is emphasized. Digital transformation is highlighted not as a short-term change but as a continuous process of development. Accordingly, the research aims to thoroughly examine the theoretical framework and practical outcomes of digital transformation in education.
