The Two phases of one fuel
Creators
Description
Continuing the topic of "cold" synthesis of hydrocarbons, it is necessary to highlight, perhaps, the main thing in this section. This is hydrocarbon fuel. More precisely, two states of the same fuel. Liquid and gaseous. This separation in nature occurs in the process of one-sided, natural "isolation" of the gas phase from organic products of the liquid phase in the process of degassing, when the chemical molecular bond of the liquid phase is broken, being within the limits of the influence of external conditions, such as, for example, temperature and pressure.
This video presents another impact. This is an internal impact, acting directly on the functional molecular structures of the liquid phase of hydrocarbons with electricity, the main parameters of which, both direct and alternating, consist of voltage and current.
In this case, the video demonstrates the process of phase transition from the liquid state of hydrocarbon fuel (gasoline) to the gaseous state, which occurs under the influence of direct current, a battery under a voltage of twelve volts.
As you can see, a small portion of gasoline is poured directly into the electrostatic module. Then, the mechanical assembly is demonstrated, in the form of threaded connections that do not have any special precision of technical connections in the process of assembling the units of the general design of the device.
Next, in real time, the process of transition of the liquid phase of fuel into the gas phase is demonstrated, in the form of a "cold cloud". As a result, after some time, at atmospheric pressure, this gas again becomes gasoline.
Using a regular car compressor, air is pumped into a children's rubber balloon. A weak air supply is set up through a tap into the module and ignition is demonstrated. But this is not a fuel-air mixture, since it is a "cold" gas. It "easily" separates from the burner, forming a flame in the form of an "onion" "swinging" on an air stream.
Further, the video demonstrates safety. The fact that stopping the air supply does not ignite the module. Increasing the pressure by additionally pumping air into the rubber ball is also safe.
The next demonstration of the safety of the module is that possible overproduction of gas, with an open fire, does not lead to explosive situations with all the tragic consequences that follow. This process of gas phase production occurs without any pressure.
These research data qualitatively change the established ideas about the nature of fire. In turn, the result of this experiment expands the possibilities of using hydrocarbon fuel in everyday life, the automobile and aviation industries.
