Description

This toolkit is authored by Alberto Godioli (University of Groningen), Sabine Jacques (University of Liverpool), Jennifer Young (University of Groningen) and Ariadna Matamoros-Fernández (University College Dublin). It is primarily intended for the judiciary and other legal professionals, with the aim of promoting an informed, well-balanced, and consistent approach to humorous expression in light of both human rights law and interdisciplinary humor research.

This publication is funded by the Dutch Research Council through the Humour in Court project (VI.Vidi.201.111, NWO Talent Programme Vidi SSH 2020) and an NWO Impact Explorer grant ("Humor and Free Speech Jurisprudence: Co-Creating Guidelines for Judicial Practice", IMP.EXP.23-24.014).
