Description

The current report has been developed within the framework of the EU Horizon 2020 ENLIGHTENme
project: Innovative policies for improving citizens’ health and wellbeing addressing indoor and outdoor
lighting.

It aims to advance the understanding of how indoor and outdoor lighting affects health and wellbeing,
particularly in elderly populations. It presents innovative, evidence-based guidelines and policies for
measures, technologies, and interventions that can be implemented with a dedicated Decision Support
System to help both citizens and city leaders improve public health and wellbeing.

The ENLIGHTENme project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and
innovation programme under grant agreement No 945238.
The authors are solely responsible for this report content, which does not represent the opinion of the
European Commission and the Commission is not responsible for any use that might be made of data
appearing therein.

Please note, this updated version of the Guidelines has been prepared by LUCI for publishing and distribution.
