This package contains Python code used to create the figures of the preprint https://arxiv.org/abs/2504.17014. This includes exact diagonalization code as well as calculation of the steady state of the driven-dissipative system.
To reproduce the figure X, go to folder FigureX and run:
python FigureX.py.
Some of the codes need additional data files (included). For information on how to reproduce the data files, see the README.txt file in each folder.
The main directory contains modules used by the codes stored in subdirectories.
Added in this version is the data and code backing up the claim that we didn't find any flat bands in the "simplified model" on triangular and square lattices (other_lattices folder). The code requires the pythtb package. To run the code, go to the other_lattices folder and run
python dipolar_<lattice>.py
where <lattice> is either "square", "triangular" or "triangular_V".
