Gasdermin D drives the systemic storm and mortality after trauma with hemorrhage to a greater degree in biological females than males
Description
This repository contains the complete code used in the study "Gasdermin D drives the systemic storm and mortality after trauma with hemorrhage to a greater degree in biological females than males". The manuscript presents a comprehensive multiomic investigation integrating mouse models of hemorrhagic shock and trauma (HS/T) with human clinical datasets to elucidate the role of Gasdermin D (GSDMD) in driving systemic inflammatory responses and mortality.
This codebase includes:
1. Data preprocessing scripts for metabolomics and proteomics,
2. Statistical analysis pipelines (e.g., linear regression, PCA, UMAP, and network analysis),
3. WGCNA and Machine learning workflows,
4. Visualization scripts for figures and supplementary materials.
The scripts are written primarily in R, and they support reproducibility for both murine and human dataset analysis presented in the paper. All code has been organized and annotated to facilitate reuse and extension by other researchers.
