Integrated Information Management in Grid Computing
Description
Since the emergence of distributed networks, numerous practical opportunities have arisen for identifying and recording events in real-time. Efforts have also been dedicated to addressing information challenges such as data currency and authenticity. However, there remain issues and shortcomings in achieving optimal maintenance of monetary, financial, and accounting records. To address this, careful attention must be paid to the distribution of information systems within network environments. It is essential to maintain a continuous flow of updated information and eliminate restrictions on the formulation of assumptions and foundational frameworks for their use by administrators, management teams, or sites. The Grid (a system for information sharing), as proposed by Ian Foster and Carl Kesselman, establishes secure communication channels to enable shared processing of resources and data across virtual organizations.
