User-Selected Classic Books across Douban and Goodreads

Description

This dataset includes parallel book review data (e.g., URLs, book titles, numbers of reviews, average book ratings) about 144 classics selected by book reviewers on Goodreads (Walsh & Antoniak, 2021) and 141 classics selected by book reviewers on Douban (Hu et al., 2023) across the two platforms.
