Introduction of NFDI4ING's archetype Fiona at the All-Hands-Meeting 2024

NFDI4ING is the National Research Data Infrastructure for the Engineering Sciences. The address the various engineering disciplines (ranging from mechanical engineering and electrical engineering to civil engineering, among others), NFDI4ING is using a research method driven approach in form of prototypical researchers, the so-called archetypes. 

In this presentation, the archetype Fiona is introduced and pitched. For the second funding period of NFDI4ING, Fiona is leveraging existing datasets for her analysis, although this data is distributed in various repositories and different formats. The presentation has been held at the NFDI4ING All-Hands-Meeting 2024 in Hannover. The idea is driven by the Data Mesh data management approach from industry, although adaptions for Research Data Management (RDM) might be required.
