Be an Agent of Change - How to support culture change in research data management

Data Stewards and other RDM professionals are not only providing RDM training and consultation - they aim to change research data related behavior, increase adoption of RDM services and tools and implement policies and standards. Therefore, they are agents of change.

This keynote presented at Fellowship of the Data - International RDM Community Meetin 2025, April 1-2 2025, Rosensäle Universität Jena, explores how data stewards and other RDM professionals can apply change management methods to increase adoption of RDM practices and tools and support researchers and other stakeholders in necessary behavior changes.
