Global variation in vegetation carbon use efficiency inferred from eddy covariance observations
Description
This dataset includes the vegetation carbon use efficiency (CUE) for global eddy covariance sites, a gridded global vegetation CUE map, and the code to estimate CUE from eddy covariance observations. The dataset includes the following items:
- "CUE_fluxnet-v1.zip" is the code to estimate CUE from eddy covariance observations.
- "CUE_EC_site_032025.xlsx" contains the site-specific CUE and other parameters related to autotrophic respiration, as well as the uncertainties of those parameters.
- "CUE_EC_032025.nc" includes a gridded global CUE map (CUE_EC) and its uncertainty at 0.5 degree. The .nc file also includes the CUE estimates from an ensemble of dynamic global vegetation models (DGVMs).
- "Source Data_Figures.xlsx" includes the source data to generate the main figures in the publication.
