As environmental challenges intensify, the urgency of identifying effective strategies to encourage sustainable behavior grows. A recent study by Hackenburg, Fisher, and Gould (2025) examines whether framing ecosystem services (ES) in terms of cultural or economic benefits is more effective in motivating pro-environmental action, using the case of cyanobacteria blooms in Lake Champlain, Vermont.
