Consciousness as a Spherical Processing Node

Description

This paper introduces a fully non-causal structural model of the universe that radically departs from traditional concepts such as determinism and randomness. At its core lies the assumption of an emergent structure (ES) in which all possible reality points are already present – independent of time, causality, or observation. Within this model, consciousness is defined as a spherical processing node that selectively activates portions of the ES, generating the appearance of time, causality, and change.

The model unifies insights from relativity theory, quantum mechanics, information logic, and consciousness research into a new structural paradigm. Rather than explaining reality through dynamic processes, it describes a fully defined, static data space Ω, where experiential phenomena arise solely through localized activation within cognitive attractors.

What makes this paper unique:

  • Proposes a reality model beyond both determinism and randomness.

  • Reframes consciousness as a selective visibility mechanism within a static structure.

  • Bridges physics, information theory, and cognitive science under one unified structure theory.

  • Explains time, change, and causality as emergent byproducts of localized processing.

  • Developed in transdisciplinary collaboration with advanced AI systems and symbolic modeling.

The ant farm analogy is used to illustrate how perceived randomness and agency emerge from limited internal perspectives, while from a global standpoint, all pathways are already determined.
