Creators
Description
This is the third in a series of 10 video tutorials produced within the activities of the Swedish infrastructure for Digital Archaeology, Swedigarch. This tutorial focuses on global registration in Artec Studio 17, applied to the individual frames included in a scan. It provides a step-by-step explanation of how to align the frames into a coherent point cloud, ensuring accurate geometry before proceeding to further processing. The dataset used in this tutorial—including an Artec Studio project file, a 3D model in OBJ format, and a PDF with a specific print designed to enhance scan quality—can be downloaded from the first tutorial at https://zenodo.org/uploads/15149591.
