Description
The kick-off meeting of the CONVIVIUM project, held in January 2025, marked the official launch of this interdisciplinary and intersectoral initiative. Bringing together a diverse coalition of public and private European partners, the meeting served as a foundational moment to establish the project’s strategic direction, foster collaboration, and align objectives for the integration of food heritage into the European Green Deal.
As the starting point of CONVIVIUM, the kick-off meeting provided a platform for exchanging knowledge, refining methodologies, and structuring the project’s key areas of action. Discussions focused on the interplay between food, sustainability, cultural heritage, and social transformation, reinforcing the project’s commitment to mobilizing creative and scientific expertise in line with the principles of the New European Bauhaus. The meeting also allowed partners to explore the synergies between traditional practices and cutting-edge innovations, ensuring that CONVIVIUM’s activities remain both grounded in local realities and globally relevant.
This document compiles the materials presented and discussed during the meeting, offering a comprehensive overview of the project’s core themes, methodologies, and objectives. By documenting the insights shared, it serves as a reference for future collaboration and a roadmap for the next phases of CONVIVIUM’s development.
