CYBERSTAND at the Digital SMEs Summit 2024

Advancements in digital technologies have offered new opportunities to address the defining challenges of our times and shape a more equitable, sustainable, and prosperous future for all.

In this context, the 2024 DIGITAL SME Summit discussed this strategy and new policy priorities as the new EU term began, building on innovation from tech SMEs and championing a new vision for European digital leadership.

The event brought together SMEs from across Europe alongside leading voices from the policy, business, academic, and civil society communities to:

• Discuss the role of SMEs as enablers of digital innovation;
• Outline actions supporting European digital leadership and initiatives to help SMEs thrive in the Digital Single Market;
• Showcase SMEs’ digital solutions and facilitate matchmaking to foster synergies among businesses, ultimately strengthening Alliances for SME digitalisation across industrial sectors.

The summit featured debates on the impact of digital technologies on key global challenges, along with business-focused sessions for SMEs interested in funding opportunities to support their growth. A half-day parallel matchmaking event provided a valuable opportunity to connect with potential partners, investors, and like-minded entrepreneurs.
