ABSTRACT

The article deals with topics of the relationship between international relations and foreign investments in the context of the Republic of North Macedonia. It emphasizes the importance of foreign direct investment (FDI) for the country's economic development, particularly in light of limited domestic savings.

The Republic of North Macedonia, a candidate for European Union (EU) membership and a NATO member since March 2020, has been actively pursuing foreign investments as a means to bolster its economic development. 

The interplay between international relations and foreign investments is crucial for understanding the opportunities and challenges that North Macedonia faces in the global economic landscape.

This article also explores the current investment climate, the role of international relations in shaping investment opportunities, and the perspectives for future growth in North Macedonia.
