MYRIAD-SIM Stochastic Weather Dataset V1
Description
This is a European stochastic dataset for daily mean temperature, precipitation and wind speed. The dataset has been generated by the MYRIAD-Stochastic vIne-copula Model (MYRIAD-SIM). MYRIAD-SIM captures both spatiotemporal and multivariate dependencies with the use of conditional vine copulas, a statistical tool.
The simulated data for temperature, precipitation and wind speed are stored in a separate NetCDF file for each variable. Each NetCDF file is approximately 1 GB in size and contains four dimensions and five attributes, as described in Table 1. The data variable names are t2m, pr, ws, for temperature, precipitation and wind speed respectively.
