Citations (1): Algeria: without precise locality (Simon 1914).
Distribution: Western Mediterranean (World Spider Catalog 2024).
Comment: According to Bosmans & Van Keer (2012b), the presence of this species in North Africa is very doubtful. Moreover, this species has never been collected in Algeria, despite intensive sampling over several years throughout the country. The same applies to neighbouring countries
