Abstract
The damage done by phytopathogens like fungi, viruses, bacteria, and nematodes have inflicted negative impact on Nigeria’s agricultural products. Nigeria is a country where agriculture produce have greatly contributed substantially to the national economy. This article reviews the major challenges confronting plant disease management in Nigeria, including the increasing impact of pathogens like fungi, bacteria, and viruses on yield and production.
