Description

This tool was developed to support the simulation of water flow and PFAS transport in the saturated and unsaturated zone using the model codes of HYDRUS-1D, MODFLOW and MT3DMS. The model is started by first running a coupled version of Hydrus-1D and MODFLOW in which water flow in both the unsaturated and saturated zone is as well as PFAS transport in the unsaturated zone is simulated. This tool processes the relevant output of this model (time series of water fluxes and PFAS concentrations at the groundwater table interface) to input files for MT3DMS in order to simulate PFAS transport in the saturated zone.
