SYNTHESIS OF QUINOLINE ALKALOIDS USING AMIDES
- 1. Urgench branch of Tashkent Medical Academy
Description
This article provides an in-depth analysis of the synthesis of quinoline alkaloids using amides. Amides play a crucial role as directing groups in C-H activation, participate in cascade reactions, and enable stereochemical control. The latest advancements in catalytic systems, including green chemistry approaches and computational methodologies, are reviewed to enhance the efficiency and environmental safety of synthetic processes. The practical applications of these findings extend to pharmaceuticals, medicine, agrochemicals, and materials science.
This research paper presents the results of synthesis of amide derivatives of quinoline alkaloids and study of their biological activity. The antimicrobial and antifungal activity of synthesized substances was studied. Some compounds showed high biological activity.
