The SagDIG HII-region: A possible stellar outflow scenario through a gas-phase analysis using Te−sensitive method in the IFU era
Description
The study of metal-poor galaxies is one of the basis to understand the formation and evolution of galaxies at their early stages. However, most of the observational works are done by using either photometry or long-slit spectroscopy. We present a gas-phase analysis by using IFU data of two metal-poor galaxies, SagDIG and Leo A, which allowed us to estimate metallicities by using the Te-sensitive method. Both SagDIG and Leo A HII-region shows signs stratification and momentum-driven winds from SNe outflows. SagDIG shows a biconical hydrogen outflow where young stars are located at the edges of the structure due to ionization fronts. On the other hand, Leo A is showing a C-shape structure due to SNe explosions that expels the hydrogen content from the center of this HII-region.
