Open sunny secondary bush (old gardens).

Climbing rattan palm, height 4.5m, d.b.h. 6mm. Wood short staying rattan palm 6 leaflets palmate-like on top of 10cm long petiole. Flagellum. Ochrea 8cm, disintigrating into fibres. Clusters up to 50 shoots.
