D4.1: OWC Localization Sensing System Design

Description

This deliverable presents accurate positioning techniques applicable for emergency systems, commercial and industrial (industry 4.0) innovative systems.
This document includes the system design of 3 advanced methods for OWC-based localization sensing.
These methods include:
a. ToA, TDoA, PoA or PDoA
b. RSS based localization
c. Beam-steering-based localization by modulation of the orientation of optical sources
A localization fusion server to enhance the localization performance and reliability is also included.
The design refers to solutions architecture, KPIs, risks and test principles and methods.
