Edge AI Systems Functional and Non-Functional Requirements Engineering. Generative AI Future Trends and Concepts.
Description
Edge AI's significance is embedded in the ability to address the demand for low-latency, privacy-preserving, and cost-effective AI applications by processing data locally, enhancing privacy and security, and reducing the time to derive insights and take actions, which is key for applications in autonomous real-time systems. Edge AI functional (FRs) and non-functional (NFRs) requirements are essential for defining the characteristics and features of the system. Generative AI can be integrated into the edge AI systems development life-cycle to support defining FRs and NFRs and facilitate efficient non-functional testing and anomaly detection by creating a continuous feedback loop that ensures edge AI systems consistently meet the objectives.
