Description

A key outcome of the Erasmus+60 project is a set of policy recommendations advocating for the integration of learning opportunities for seniors into higher education institutions (HEIs). These recommendations highlight the importance of inclusivity, intergenerational learning, mobility exchanges, and the promotion of European values, fostering meaningful learning experiences that support active ageing and civic engagement. To ensure a well-rounded and evidence-based approach, 11 key stakeholders in senior learning were interviewed. This report presents a summary of their insights.

The Erasmus+60 project aimed to engage European citizens aged 60 and above in international learning, mobility, online education, and intergenerational learning, fostering inclusion and strengthening their sense of European citizenship. Led by Université de Versailles—Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, the project brought together partners from across Europe to explore how higher education institutions (HEIs) can support lifelong learning for older adults.
