The monograph presents an integral research of the issues of high school pupils’ healthy life style forming in the pedagogical thoughts during the second part of the XXth century. The origin of the ideas of pupils’ healthy life style forming in the world pedagogical thought is investigated, the stages (50-60s – the stage of setting the ground for the study of different issues of high school pupils’ healthy life style forming as a pedagogical problem; 70-80s – the stage of intensive development of scientific and methodological foundation of high school pupils’ healthy life style forming; 90s – the stage of investigating the problem of pupils’ healthy life style forming as a system based on humanistic ideas) and leading tendencies in the development of the problem of high school pupils’ healthy life style forming in the national pedagogy during the period under research are revealed and analysed. The experience (directions, forms, methods, means) of high school pupils’ healthy life style forming during the investigated period is generalized. The perspectives of its implementation in modern-day schools are outlined.
The monograph is intended for researchers, teachers, postgraduates and doctoral students, and all those who are interested in the education of healthy and educated young people.
