Top 5 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (2020-2022)
Description
This brief presents the top five Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Consortium of European Social Science Data Archives (CESSDA) from 2020 to 2022. CESSDA, a European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC), aims to promote high-quality, trusted social science research by providing integrated and sustainable data services across its Service Providers (i.e., national social science data archives) from 22 member countries. The brief highlights CESSDA's progress in five key areas: 1) enhancing access to data and publications (measured by the number of primary digital objects and associated publications); 2) supporting multidisciplinary research projects for Europe's digital future and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); 3) empowering education and building research capacity through lectures, workshops, and training events; 4) improving public engagement and research transparency, tracked by website and tool visits; and 5) optimising return on investment in social science research by enabling data reuse. The brief also acknowledges data limitations due to variations across Service Providers and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. It concludes by encouraging future collaborations and reaffirming CESSDA's ongoing commitment to advancing open science.
