BASIC TIME SCALE MODIFICATION AND DETECTION OF PACKET LOSS

In this paper, we used basic method of Timescale modification (TSM) of audio signal. In this paper detection of packet loss is found. Single packet loss can cause major effect on audio signal; hence there is need of concealment of lost packet. Once the loss of packet is detected it can be concealed by using various algorithms. We proposed WSOLA & GWSOLA for concealment of lost packet. We perform a time-scale modification (TSM) using a waveform similarity overlap-add (WSOLA) technique with gain control (GWSOLA) to reconstruct the audio signal of the lost frames.
