SOME FACTORS INFLUENCING EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE IN SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED ENTERPRISES: PRELIMINARY SURVEY RESULTS
Description
Abstract:
This study evaluates the measurement scales of several factors- namely transformational leadership, leader-member exchange and organizational citizenship behaviour, and organizational culture- that influence employee job performance. The research was conducted in two stages: a qualitative phase to refine the scales and a preliminary quantitative phase to confirm the reliability of the observed variables. Initial analysis indicates that the scales achieve both convergent and discriminant validity, thereby laying a solid foundation for subsequent formal model testing.
