Structural Prognostics & Health Monitoring framework for smart structures

Description

A structural prognostics & health monitoring framework is proposed within the objectives of the EU MORPHO project to perform real-time assessment of the structural integrity of fan blade component and remaining useful life (RUL) estimation. The framework consists of 4 main steps: 1) low frequency fatigue experiments, see the experimental campaign, where several sensing techniques are utilized to collect health monitoring data 2) design of a deep Graph Neural Network for the analysis of the health monitoring data 3) stiffness reduction assessment of the fan blade utilizing k-fold cross validation process and 4) RUL estimation.
