This article reviews the evolution of clinical photography in dentistry, focusing on technological advancements, changing protocols, integration with digital dentistry, and the impact on patient care and education. The discussion highlights the incorporation of artificial intelligence (AI), photogrammetry, and teledentistry, while addressing challenges like standardization, cost, and data security.
