Among them is a manuscript of poetry that has similar pronunciation but different meaning from Yoruba words that were written in their Arabic sense. The importance of this study lies in the Yoruba verbal tributaries contained in this poetry, which reveal the extent of the wealth of linguistic vocabulary that the Yoruba language enjoys. The problem of this research stems from the need to know the phonetic symbols that characterize words with different meanings, without relying entirely on the situational or verbal context. Accordingly, this article aims to unveil the extent of the contribution of our ancient scholars in serving the scientific heritage, and the verbal richness and moral breadth that the Yoruba language enjoys, along with the extent of the necessity of knowing symbols that help distinguish between the pronunciation of Yoruba words in order to know their different meanings. This article answers questions, including: What is the contribution of Ilorin scientists to serving scientific heritage? How can the identity of the Yoruba language and its verbal wealth be proven? To what extent does the reader of this poetry need to know the symbols that have been established to distinguish between the meanings of Yoruba words that are similar in pronunciation? This article adopts both historical and analytical methods

Les archives des savants du pays d’Ilorin au Nigéria sont remplies de manuscrits de divers domaines scientifiques et intellectuels. L’archive de Sheikh Abubakr Agbarigidoma est l’une de ces archives, qui contient des manuscrits aux dimensions scientifiques et intellectuelles étendues. Parmi eux se trouve un manuscrit de poésie qui a une prononciation similaire mais un sens différent des mots yoruba qui ont été écrits dans leur sens arabe. L’importance de cette étude réside dans les affluents verbaux yoruba contenus dans cette poésie, qui révèlent l’étendue de la richesse du vocabulaire linguistique dont jouit la langue yoruba. Le problème de cette recherche découle de la nécessité de connaître les symboles phonétiques qui caractérisent les mots ayant des significations différentes, sans s’appuyer entièrement sur le contexte situationnel ou verbal. En conséquence, cet article vise à dévoiler l’étendue de la contribution de nos anciens savants au service du patrimoine scientifique, ainsi que la richesse verbale et l’étendue morale dont jouit la langue yoruba, ainsi que l’étendue de la nécessité de connaître les symboles qui aident à distinguer la prononciation des mots yoruba afin de connaître leurs différentes significations. Cet article répond à des questions telles que : quelle est la contribution des scientifiques d’Ilorin au service du patrimoine scientifique ? Comment peut-on prouver l’identité de la langue yoruba et sa richesse verbale ? Dans quelle mesure le lecteur de cette poésie a-t-il besoin de connaître les symboles qui ont été établis pour distinguer les significations des mots yoruba qui ont une prononciation similaire ?
