Description

The purpose of the Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP) is to provide a structured, highlevel technical planning of the engineering activities of the ARGOS project (including the ARGOS Conceptual Design Study prokect) in order to communicate to the team itself, the managers, the EU officers, and relevant stakeholders the technical effort that will be performed by the assigned technical team.

This SEMP describes the approach, activities, products, processes, tools and controls that will be developed and used during the life cycle of the project. This document also coordinates the engineering effort in a coherent and efficient manner in order to ensure the successful deployment and commissioning of the ARGOS telescope. Apart from the technical aspects, the SEMP describes, and provides templates for the documentation that should be produced for the review at the end of each major milestone of the project. The present document is tightly coupled with the Project Management Plan (PMP) that has been produced in the context of the ARGOS Conceptual Design Study project, funded by the EU under G.A. 101094354.
