It should be accepted that the researches and studies related to analyzing the human responses to trauma represent rather young area of research compared to the rest of psychological phenomena. The systematic research of those responses appeared first in the United States after the end of the Vietnam War due to rather obvious fact that the mental trauma of the American soldiers during and after their military service appeared to be of increased importance and significance drawing increased attention of psychiatrists and psychologists as a result .
