D4.2 - Immobilized stimuli-responsive hydrogels on surfaces

Description

Deliverable 4.2 focuses on the development of surface -immobilized stimuli-responsive hydrogels. This report addresses the creation of a general method to assemble stimuli-responsive, stiffness-switchable hydrogels on surfaces. Specifically, the metabolite -driven, stiffness -controlled hydrogel frameworks introduce viable concepts for designing hydrogel matrices with shape-memory, self-healing, controlled load-release, and robotic/morphing features that emulate the biological stimuli - responsive functions of worms.
