E.FACTORY (Factsheet)

The E.Factory Lab of the OOe Energiesparverband aims to interest students in schools in the industrial energy transition to combat the shortage of skilled staff in industry and research.

To this end, age- and target group-specific information and communication activities motivate pupils and students to become interested in the energy transition in industry and to consider it as a future career field. The E.Factory Lab is built on a modular structure with an interactive didactic concept that is carried out stepwise as an integrated part of the NEFI innovation process. In this context, a software is implemented that simulates an energy system of a factory and with didactic accompanying measures for students in their 7th and 8th school year.
