Description
This repository contains the chromosome-level genome assembly, annotation, and genome hub files of the California two-spot octopus (Octopus bimaculoides). These data resulted in the discovery of the cephalopod sex chromosomes. Read the paper in Current Biology here: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.cub.2025.01.005.
