Description

COMPAS simulation output, data and scripts needed to reproduce the results and figures in van Son et al. 2024

The notebooks to reproduce all the figures  can be found in code.zip
All these scripts + additional analysis notebooks can also be found here: https://github.com/LiekeVanSon/ZdependentFormEff


Most figures can be recreated without the need to download the simulation data. Only for Figure 3B do you need to unpack simulations/simulations1.tar.xz 
The YieldReview.tar.gz contains a folder with the summary data needed to recreaste Figure 1.
Single_star_data.pkl contains dictionaries that allow you to recreate Figures 2,7 and 8 (without the need to download the SingleStarGrids folder) Similarly, Fig3A_plotdata.pkl, yield_data.pkl, and Fig5_simulations.pkl,  contain data to recreate the top panel of Fig. 3, Fig. 4 and  Fig. 5.
BH_kick_reviw.xlsx contains that data for Fig. 6 (can also be found on the git repository).

 

The simulations.tar.gz and SingleStarGrids.tar files contain folders with COMPAS data.
