Description

The interTwin project is an initiative funded by the European Union's Horizon Europe program. It aims to develop an interdisciplinary Digital Twin Engine (DTE), which is a versatile, open-source platform designed to integrate different Digital Twins (DTs) across various scientific domains. The DTE will help manage and simulate highly complex systems in fields like high-energy physics, astroparticle physics, radio astronomy, climate research, and environmental monitoring. The project focuses on creating a prototype of this engine through a collaborative process involving over 30 partner institutions, including technology and infrastructure providers. The poster will showcase the project first Sofware release and 2 prototype DTs for Climate Extreme Events and GW Astrophysics.
