Reception of WWVB (60 kHz) during the 08-April-2024 Total Solar Eclipse
Description
Audio recording of WWVB plus a 1 kHz phase reference tone for propagation analysis during the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse. This recording was made between 16:00 UTC and 22:00 UTC by KD2BD in Wall Township, New Jersey (FN20xd). The maximum effects of the solar eclipse appear shortly after 19:00 UTC.
Audio from WWVB was recorded as a 1 kHz tone on the left audio channel. A 1 kHz reference tone was recorded on the right channel.
Recordings are presented in FLAC format sampled at 44.1 kHz, and as an uncompressed raw .s16 2-channel 16-bit signed integer PCM file.
