22. Hylastes brunneus (Erichson, 1836)
Distribution. Azores, British Islands, Europe from France to Scandinavia, Ukraine and European Russia, Asian Turkey, Iran, Mongolia, Siberia, Russian Far East, North China, South Korea, North India (Knížek 2011b; Alonso-Zarazaga et al. 2017, 2023); reported by Nikitsky & Izhevsky (2005) from Caucasus and Transcaucasia. Armenia: reported as H. aterrimus Eggers, 1933 by Mirzoian (1954) from Dilijan (Tavush Province) and later (Mirzoian 1977) from North Armenia.
Hosts. Pinus.
