Mechanical realization and low power RF test of the two RF guns

Work Package 7.4 aimed to design, construct, and test two very high cathode peak field C-band (5.712 GHz) electron photo-guns. The two devices, one Standing Wave (SW) and one Travelling Wave (TW) have been designed and realized. The SW gun has been designed by INFN and fabricated by COMEB while the TW gun has been designed by PSI, machined by VDL and finally brazed by PSI. In this Deliverable we report the details on the mechanical realization of the two guns and on low power RF test results in terms of scattering coefficients, coupling coefficient and electric field measurements.
