  • 1. Unitatea Executiva Pentru Finantarea Invatamantului Superior a Cercetarii Dezvoltarii si Inovarii

Description

Materials from the GraspOS Community of Practice meeting held on 11 September 2024

Topic of Discussion

UEFISCDI is the main funder of competitive research in Romania, and also an important policy advisor to both Ministries of Education and Research, Innovation & Digitalization and a facilitator of dialogue with the research and innovation communities in Romania.

UEFISCDI is in process of developing and testing the viability of implementing an Openness Researcher Profile (OP) within the national platform BrainMap, having in mind the alignment with CoARA’s Agreement on Reforming Research Assessment and synergies with other institutional projects and efforts in support of OA and RRA. The pilot focuses on building a test version (mock-up) of the OP based on the existing BrainMap researcher profile. Developments will be tested in terms of content, as well as user experience, with representatives of the research community.

In this sixth edition of the GraspOS Community of Practice, Ioana Spanache (Science Policy & Research Assessment Expert at UEFISCDI) and Alina Irimia (Open Science projects coordinator at UEFISCDI) presented the roadmap for the pilot.
