Description

DMP concerns the project not related to economic activity industrial research with a purpose to develop potent boron heterocycles-containing carbonic anhydrase inhibitors as new anti-cancer agents. Research iswithin the state defined priority scientific direction ‘Public health’ with specialization on ‘Biomedicine’ and it complies with RIS3 1th and 6th priorities. Scientific fields: 1.4. Chemical science, 1.6. Biological sciences and 3.3. Health science.
To achieve the objectives of the research following scientific activities are realized and included herein:
•    Design, synthesis and characterization of boron heterocycle-containing derivatives (benzoxaborinine, diazaborine and oxazaborine) as inhibitors with enhanced selectivity towards diverse carbonic anhydrase’s isoforms and different mode of binding to the enzymatic active site.

Time period covered by DMP is 24 months (from March 2024 till February 2026, provisionally). The financial support  realized by RRF (5.2.1.1.i.) grant Nr.16/OSI/PG
