In vitro Anti-diabetic activity of Hydro-alcoholic Extracts of Leaves and Fruits of Ziziphus nummularia (Burm. F. Wight & Arn)

Description

Hydro-alcoholic extraction of leaves and fruits of Ziziphus nummularia were prepared by Soxhlet and Maceration Method. Total Phenolic Contents of extracts were determined. Extract were also analyzed by FT-IR and HPLC. In vitro anti-diabetic activity of Extracts of Leaves and Fruits of Ziziphus nummularia (Burm. F. Wight & Arn) was evaluated. Among all extracts, leaves extract of Maceration process utilize higher glucose hence have higher anti-diabetic activity.
