(all in MWM/ ZSM).
Diagnosis. The forewing length is 16.0–17.0 mm in males and 19.0–20.0 mm in females. Thysanoplisna anomala superficially differs from its congeners in the broader forewing with a distally falcate anal margin. In the male genitalia, Th. anomala differs clearly from other species in the genus in the distally elongate, narrow, apically pointed, and downcurved distal section of the valva, which is short, broad, apically rounded and directed distally in the congeners. Additionally, the uncus and distal saccular process of Th. anomala are the longest and thinnest in the genus. The configuration of the vesica of Th. anomala is similar to the Th. signata species-group but in the former it is shorter and has medial and distal diverticula well-separated from each other, and the ventral medial diverticulum is short, narrow and bears a cornutus (similar to the Th. directa species-group). The female genitalia of Th. anomala display no fundamental differences from the Th. signata species-group with its posterior gelatinous enlargement of the corpus bursae situated ventrally, and differs in the shorter appendix bursae and the more heavily sclerotised 7 th abdominal sternum.
Distribution. Southwestern China (north-western Yunnan Province) (Volynkin 2021).
