Description

Acalypha brachystachya Hornemann (1815: 909); Fawcett (1885: 517)

Ecology: grasslands on mountain slopes, roadsides, streamsides, terraced fields, usually in disturbed areas; elevation 100–1900 m.

Distribution: Africa, India, China, Taiwan, Sumatra, Java, Lesser Sunda Islands (Sagun et al. 2010).
